The geocodes the API returns are jointly licensed under the ODbL, CC-BY-SA licenses. In regards to the various EU government data used to derive our API responses, Reuse is authorised, provided the source is acknowledged. The reuse policy of the European Commission is implemented by a Decision of 12 December 2011.
In short, You can cache your geocodes, store them however you want, use them however you want, even commercially.
As to the data you upload/send to our API, we periodically remove it after it has been geocoded. You may remove it yourself as soon as you have downloaded the processed version on the premium batch geocoding API. If you anonymously upload data to our server you do not have access to anonymously delete anything, but it will be deleted anyways in due course.
So, as far as GDPR goes, we have been compliant from day one.
